Three weeks have passed

and we totally love our new life in Saint John.

Each morning I wake up with a feeling of disbelief when I look out the window. Watching the panoramic view of North End, the sunrise...our white and fresh apartment...all of it -- it's such a difference to where we used to live.

There's still a lot to do here at home but there's no rush, and we've been out a great deal. I've been walking downtown, I can talk to people and read the newspaper so to me, in particular, it's a new life.

I've always loved ducks, for one reason or another, so we've been out to Rockwood Park many times already and I've been taking lots of photos of the mallards in Lily Lake.

On November 11th I was in Harbour Station for the Remembrance Day ceremonies. It's was beautiful. I was so glad I went! In our old place you couldn't even find a poppy to buy... Harbour Station was filled almost to the last seat and that warmed my heart.
